From the Book: He was very particular about us memorizing the hadith he was teaching from in the class of Sahīh Al-Bukharī after the prayer of ‘Asr. If it was a shorter one, he didn’t excuse anyone from memorizing and then standing up to recite it at the beginning of the dars.
He didn’t like his students sleeping or dozing off after early morning prayer of Fajr. A brother told me that previously in the past, before I arrived, he would sit facing his students after the prayer and if he saw anyone sleeping or dozing, he would tell them to wake up. Sometimes he would walk amongst the students and prod any one who he saw sleeping or dozing and tell them to be awake.
The time between the beginning of Fajr and Shurūq (or sunrise) is full of barakah (or blessings).
SalafiMakthaba Quran and Sunnah according to the understanding of the righteous predecessors.
