From the Book: Our outer garments is none other than the Sunnah, our inner garments are none other than Tawheed, and our nationality is none other than Islam. We have distanced ourselves from turmoil, embraced poverty, adorned ourselves with asceticism, and walked the path of the Prophets, the Companions, the Taabi’is, and those who took them as a lead from the people of Hadith, Sunnah, and Narration.
We revive the Sunnah, extinguish Innovations, spread knowledge, educate the ignorant, awaken the heedless, and remind the forgetful. We have abandoned blind following and adhered to ‘following’. We left behind what our fathers and forefathers said and took only what Allah and His Messenger said to us.
We were not disheartened by the lack of companions, nor do we stop continuing due to the length of the path, nor do we turn to other than the ancient truth. Our hopes in Allah, Ad-Dayyaan, The Just Judge, that He will protect us, guard us, and provide guidance for us. Allah is our Protector—and what an excellent Protector and Helper He is. All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of all the worlds”. End of speech.
