From the Fatwa: From of the aims of the pure Islamic legislation is for a Muslim to be distinct from all the disbelievers and immoral people, in his belief, manners, dealings and thinking. Rather even in his appearance and language as well, and to sever all ties of love, allegiance, and support for every disbeliever in Allah and His Messenger.

And the evidence and the texts from legislation, and what’s derived from it, which confirm this Islamic basis are numerous, warning against nullifying it or being negligent with it, through copying and resembling those who do not believe in Allah nor in the Last Day, and do not prohibit what Allah and His Messenger have forbidden.
