From the Book: What’s obligatory is to take the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم as an example in what the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم worn, and what his companions worn of legislated clothes, this is what’s obligatory upon the one that’s giving orders and those that are receiving orders, as for trousers then this is not legislative clothing, it’s merely the clothes of the disbelievers.
